All sewing patterns and sewing guides are digital and you will receive PDF documents when buying a sewing pattern. The pattern needs to be printed in A4 size. 

Bow Row Dress is easy to sew without any major technical details, but it does require a little patience when hemming all the different edges. The design gives you the opportunity to play with different fabric combinations and create your very own expression. The two characteristic bows can be tied at the front, back or sides – depending on the expression or fit you’re dreaming of.

SIZE AND MEASUREMENTS:

The Bow Row Dress has a loose fit and can be tightened with the waist ties. This makes the dress versatile in sizing. The dress comes in one size and is suitable for a size EU 36–44.

Bust circumference: approx. 120 cm (opens up towards the armhole)

Waist circumference with the bows untied: approx. 114 cm

Waist circumference on a size EU 36 with the bows tied: approx. 75 cm

Hip circumference (measured flat): approx. 195 cm

Dress length (shoulder to longest hem): 135 cm

FABRIC:

I hope I can inspire you to go through your stash and find bedsheets, tablecloths or curtains that can be given a new life. 

The Bow Row Dress works well with woven, non-stretch fabrics. For the body and skirt, I recommend lightweight fabrics, as these pieces need to be gathered. This could be soft bedsheets, seersucker or other fabrics without too much weight or stiffness.

For the centre section of the dress, you can choose lightweight fabrics like those used for the body and skirt, but you can also experiment with heavier fabrics such as a thicker tablecloth, denim or other tightly woven fabrics. For the ties, I recommend using a fabric that is light enough to be shaped and tied into bows.

You will need approximately 3.20 metres of fabric with a width of about 140 cm to sew your Bow Row Dress.

Bow Row Dress er nem at sy uden de store tekniske detaljer, men kræver til gengæld lidt tålmodighed ved oplægningen af de mange kanter. Snittet giver dig mulighed for at lege med forskellige tekstilkombinationer og skabe dit helt eget udtryk. De to karakteristiske sløjfer kan bindes foran, bagpå eller i siderne – alt efter hvilket udtryk eller fit, du drømmer om.

STØRRELSE OG MÅL:

Bow Row Dress er løs i fittet og kan strammes med båndene i taljen. Derfor er kjolen alsidig i størrelsen. Kjolen kommer i én størrelse og passes af str. 36-44

Kjolens brystomkreds: ca. 120 cm (åbner op ud i ærmegabet)

Kjolens taljeomkreds, hvor sløjferne ikke er bundet: ca. 114 cm

Kjolens taljeomkreds på en str. 36 med sløfjerne bundet: ca. 75 cm

Kjolens hofteomkreds (fladt mål) ca. 195 cm

Kjolens længde (skulder til længste bund): 135cm 

STOF:

Jeg håber, at jeg kan inspirere dig til at gå i gemmerne efter sengetøj, duge eller gardiner, som kan få nyt liv. 

Bow Row Dress er velegnet til vævede, ikke-strækbare tekstiler. Til kjolens top og skørt vil jeg anbefale lette materialer, da disse dele skal rynkes. Det kan for eksempel være blødt sengetøj, bæk-og-bølge eller andre materialer uden for meget tyngde eller stivhed.

Til kjolens midterstykke kan du både vælge lettere materialer som til top og skørt, men også kraftigere tekstiler som en tykkere dug, denim eller andre tætvævede tekstiler. Til båndene vil jeg anbefale et materiale, der er let nok til at kunne formes og bindes til sløjfer.

Du skal bruge ca. 3,20 meter stof i en bredde på ca. 140 cm til at sy din Bow Row Dress.
